Get Live, Stay Live began as an event series sponsored by ISIS Inc and the SFDPH for youth aged 15 – 25 years old in the Bayview Hunters Point neighborhood of San Francisco. Each Get Live, Stay Live event focused on a different aspect of culture – music, arts, fashion – combined with awareness-raising activities about the importance of sexual health. The first Get Live, Stay Live event kicked off last summer at the Bayview Opera House on July 25th with an all-ages concert featuring superstars of the local hip-hop scene like DJ truth, DLo, Big Rich and more and reached more than 300 people with safe sex information. This year, Get Live, Stay Live is trying to the next level by sponsoring and collaborating with the DJ’s, promoters and parties you all know and love to reach you with ways to put the safe back in sex.
ISIS Inc., is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to use technology and new media for sexual health promotion and STD/HIV prevention.
