Unstoppable and blessed with talent; the world was introduced to a star, San Quinn (Quincy Brooks IV), on October 24, 1977. Born in Oakland, CA and growing up on the forcible streets of the Fillmore in San Francisco, Quinn looked to writing and rapping to prevent trouble from knocking down his door. Lyrically deadly and a king in the rap game, Quinn got his start when introduced to the industry by JT tha Bigga Figga, founder of Get Low Records, and has quickly become a native to the rap game with 13 years under his belt and continues to penetrate the scene nationwide.

Richard Bougere Jr., Aka Big Rich, hails from the notorious Fillmore District of San Francisco, California. The young rapper and CEO made a name for himself in the neighborhood at an early age, working with Bay Area rap legends such as San Quinn, Rappin 4tay, RBL Posse and JT tha Bigga Figga – all before his 16th birthday. He gained nationwide exposure with his smash hit “That’s The Business.” The video was Jam of the Week on MTV Jams, 106 and Park New Joint of the Day on BET, and made it on the “Sucka Free Countdown” on MTV1. Also, in 2006 Big Rich won “New Artist of the Year” at The BARS Awards (Bay Area Rap Scene). Always staying busy, Big Rich is also currently finishing up his highly anticipated sophomore album titled “Heart Of The City” due out in early 2009.

Bread Me Out Family is a San Francisco Hip Hop act comprised of five Hunters Point Family youths from the Bayview Safe Haven program. Their first CD was produced and recorded by the infamous Bay Area hip-hop mogul “JT tha Bigga Figga,” who released Bread Me Out’s first album, entitled “Live from Hunters Point” on his label Get Low Records. The album was a major success locally, and they sold out of their initial pressing and gained a loyal following.

Flo was born in Mexico City and grew up in San Francisco. She’s been writing and recording since the age of 13. Her inspiration comes from the love for music. The people who inspire her are Michael Jackson, Lauren Hill, old school folks with a lot of soul. She has two CDs available now, and can be contacted through MySpace for that info.

Young Beeda Weeda hails from the notorious Murder Dubbs neighborhood in East Oakland, which sets the backdrop for his raw and uncut lyrics. He first showcased his skills on a national scale with “Homework”, an all-original mix-album in May of 2006. Not long after Beeda released his now classic debut album, “Turfology 101,” which has definitely created a major buzz and enabled Beeda to solidify his presence in the industry. The “Turfs Up” video aired on 32 stations and generated over a million hits online. Beeda was also number 3 on MySpace’s top 10 Hip Hop/Rap artists. Yes, the boy is busy! Obviously a trendsetter and not a follower, Beeda Weeda is definitely on his way to superstardom.

Two years ago, out of a home studio at their mother’s house in Modesto, CA, brothers D-Lo and Sleepy D, figured out the perfect formula for a prototypical Bay Area rap hit. Over the past year, the duo’s independently released singles have been ripped off MySpace, passed around by DJs, and spread by fans through the streets like a California wildfire, breaking the corporate force field surrounding commercial radio and even getting a remix by the legendary Snoop Dogg. D-Lo has a vision and a drive rare for most 20-year-olds. After hooking up with independent label PTB (Pushing the Beat), D-Lo’s popularity has skyrocketed with the recent release of the compilation The Tonight Show Featuring D-Lo (produced by DJ Fresh).

His inspiration comes from somewhere deep within, from a place he can’t begin to explain, but mostly his life experience has given him a story and a voice.
